Minor update as Prototyp site moves to a new host... might be some email hiccups for a few days.
BMW LMR parts development and test builds underway. Core chassis has gone through a couple versions as I work out whether a 'removable' bodywork version is worth the effort. Bodywork build itself is coming along well, few adjustments to make regarding panel splits and tab strategies but it's a crisp rendering of the subject. Subjectively very simple looking car compared to the current LMP-class generation.
BMW has been a big getting-up-to-speed exercise all around. New CAD development process with a couple new apps to learn, and my building skills are feeling pretty rusty as it's been a solid number of years since I've built much paper work.
Which leads us into what's next... I've kicked off work on the Peugeot 908 HDI FAP. More updates to come...
[f] Now follow Prototyp on Facebook! See you there...
Obviously a Nissan GTPZX-T model in 2008 didn't pan out... that kit is pretty far along in development so it will happen, eventually.
Finally, happy 10th anniversary-ish to Prototyp!
