| Obsolete is not a word that befits the C11... this hardly looks like a 10-plus year-old race car. Amongst the last of the turbo Group C cars designed, it was prepared for the 1990-91 European World Sportscar Championships and piloted by a team including Jochen Mass, Jean-Louis Schlesser, and a young Michael Schumacher. The C11 is Sauber's first carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, built around an evolution of the formidable 1989 Le Mans winning Mercedes engine.
