Tuning body panels is an iterative process... several noses are produced as fit and shape are finely tuned. Variances in construction have an effect too, so the better the builder, the better the final part.



Construction schenanigans in a scale racecar shop: noses, an old tub and undertray, and a fresh rear body section record the process.



Finally all the parts come together. The nose seems to be right, but there are some strange distortions happening with the rear bodywork. The rear wing and the roof section, the last of the the highly-curved and difficult parts, have yet to be produced. Next, creating the Details > >.
