Prototyp : Model : Jaguar XJR-10 / 11
Process, Part Five.
Introduction - 1 2 3

Referring to some photos and printed specs (90° 3.5 L V-6), the engine is drawn along with the driveline. The whole structure is mounted at a slight angle (the model's driveline is set at 1.5°) to keep the final drive and driveshafts as close to perpendicular to the wheel center as possible and to clear some width for the undertray tunnels. The dimensions are mostly guesswork but it all looks pretty right, so this becomes the final source for creating parts. Engine comes first, the rear suspension and driveline will come a bit later.
