Prototyp : Model : Jaguar XJR-10 / 11
Process, Part Five.
Introduction - 1 2 3

Finished tub core with a fully-open cockpit to display the dashboard and interior. More parts will be produced for the steering wheel, seat and other interior items.

The rear bulkhead with engine mounts is attached to the floorpan and sidepods which are the next bits to be joined to the tub.

core tub

The completed tub with extra bits made to go along. The door panels are built to be in the 'open' position with the optional back-side surfaces assembled.

The number 3 panel is actually a small hatch for the mechanics to access the front springs and dampers. Yet another possibility is building the model without this part so to display the inner details.
